Sourdough

I just finished sampling this yummy sourdough wheat bread! I think I'm getting the hang of it and I hardly have to look at the recipe any more.

This week was Nate's birthday, which we celebrated by eating at Bob's Burgers and watching Driving Miss Daisy.

Looking forward to a mid-winter break from school next week; I hope to relax and do my taxes (probably not simultaneously).

mmm! that looks very yummy! I should try and convince mom to make that sometime again. How do you have a mid-winter break? do those exist or have I just overlooked them my entire life? anyhow. Happy day!

I used the recipe and instructions from this site, although I did not catch wild yeast, I used regular yeast to start my starter. I think the flour is especially dry here so I use less flour.

taxes - ick. i guess i'll do those too...should be fun since we moved mid-year, eh?
